$5,000 GRAND PRIZE – awarded to the one participant whose golf ball is closest to the Grand Prize Pin/Flag #19.  If there is a tie, the prize amount will be split accordingly. 

$100 PRIZE – awarded to the participants whose golf balls are closest to Flag/Pin#1-#18.  If there are any ties, the prize amount will be split accordingly.

3. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills or its sponsors are not responsible for the postponement or cancellation of the event.  If the event should be cancelled for any reason, balls will be randomly selected for prizes.  Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills reserves the right change this event at its discretion at any time that they become aware of any circumstances or occurrences which would materially affect the event’s fairness or safety.  Such circumstances will be announced in a suitable way to reach the intended audience.
4. All proceeds go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills.
5. To participate in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills BIG Golf Ball Drop, numbered tickets may be purchased:  directly  from Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills at 425 Kansas City St, Rapid City, SD    57701, at various locations and venues or by calling 605-343-1488.
6. This event is open to participants 18 years of age or older as of entry date.
7. Odds of winning depend on number of valid entries received.
8. All golf balls will be provided by Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills and shall remain the property of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills. 
9. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
10. All entries become the property of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills and will not be returned.  Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills and any of the event sponsors assume no responsibility for late, lost, stolen, damaged, misdirected, incomplete or illegible entries.
11. The winners’ consent, without limitation or additional compensation, to use their name, voice, photograph, likeness and/or entry for advertising and/or trade purposes, except where prohibited by law.
12. By participating, each participant releases, discharges, indemnifies, and holds harmless Big Brothers Big Sisters  of the Black Hills, Big Brothers Big Sisters BIG Golf Ball Drop, owner and/or operator of helicopter,  owner and/or operator of crane, Central States Fair, Inc.,  the event sponsors and their respective officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, promotional partners  and representatives from any and all liability, loss, harm, injury, damage, cost and expense whatsoever arising directly or indirectly from the use of the prize or participation in the Big Brothers Big Sisters  of the Black Hills BIG Golf Ball Drop.
13. Decisions by Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills BIG Golf Ball Drop judges on all aspects of this event will be final and binding.
14. Winners will be notified by phone, email or mail based on the contact information supplied.  If winner cannot be located or fails to claim prize within ten (10) days after notification, prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.  Big Brothers Big Sisters, helicopter owner and/or operator or owner and/or operator of crane, and the event sponsors are not responsible for the winner’s liability to claim or use the prize in accordance with the rules.  Prizes are non-transferrable. 
15. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills BIG Golf Ball Drop will require verification of eligibility and identity before releasing prizes.
16. All applicable federal, state and local taxes and fees are the sole responsibility of the individual winners .
17. Purchase price of a  BIG Golf Ball Drop ticket is not tax deductible.
18. A list of winners will be posted on the website on June 30, 2010.
19. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills employees are not eligible to participate in the BIG Golf Ball Drop.
